Bekal:

Bekal is located in Kasargod district, which is also famous for the Bekal Fort, apart from its beaches and temples. Bekal Fort, a picturesque stronghold situated near the sea, is Kerala’s most famous fort.

The other attractions are:
Bekal Fort - 10 km,Azhithala Beach - 12 km,Kappil Beach - 15 km,
Chandragiri Fort - 20 km, Nithyananda Ashram - 1 km, Anandashram - 5 km,

Edakkal:

Located in Wayanad district, the place is famous for Edakkal caves. The fascinating prehistoric rock etchings found on the walls of these caves date back to 5,000 years and have drawn the serious attention of archaeologists and historians worldwide.

The beauty of this place is also that its only accessible by road from other parts of kerala and the neighbouring states of Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The closet Airport is the Kozhikode International,which is 115 km awayand the nearest Railway station is Kozhikode, 105 km away.
